Avonfield Kitchen is an independent café in Trowbridge, Wiltshire which was opened in June 2018 by Becky and Jake Beck within the beautiful setting of The Nursery garden centre in Hilperton, Wiltshire. Becky has worked in catering and hospitality for the last 15 years, previously owning The Teapot in Bradford-on-Avon. ​

 

Becky & Jake have a passion for good food and great coffee and are proud to serve homemade breakfasts, brunch, lunch and cakes, using fresh ingredients and offering a friendly, family-focused atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.

In October 2025, the Avonfield family expanded with the opening of Avonfield at The Old Town Hall, a new coffee shop located in the heart of Trowbridge. Set inside the beautifully refurbished historic building on Market Street, the new site offers a hand-picked menu of brunch & lunch favourites, great coffee and our much-loved homemade cakes. It’s a relaxed, town-centre spot great for quick visits and catch-ups.
